Exfoliation

In addition to a daily routine of cleansing and moisturizing your skin, you should always exfoliate your skin two to three times a week. By exfoliating your skin, you're basically getting rid of any dead surface skin cells and help clear up any blackheads or blemishes. Here are few exfoliants which I have used before or currently am in the process of using.

The first exfoliant which I use and love is Anthony Logistics' Sea Salt Body Scrub. After using this product, I found that it helped clear up any back acne and rough areas on my body, and it left my skin soft afterwards. The bottle says that it is fragrance free but it does have a slight citrusy scent to it. This scrub contains: sea salt for exfoliation, sea kelp extract and vitamin C for nourishment, aloe vera gel for soothingness,  and nutmeg extract to tone. Also, a portion of the sales from their products is donated to prostate cancer research so you should check out their site.

Price: $26 for a 12 oz bottle

The second exfoliant is mainly for your face, it is Lab Series' Invigorating Face Scrub. This product has a course grit to it and comes out in a gel type consistency. This product is also fragrance free but has a slight alcohol scent to it which gives you a cooling and fresh sensation afterwards. The manufacturers of this product suggest that you use this product before you shave, but I'm an Asian so it takes me like weeks to grow even a little hair on my chin. I have the 6.7 fl oz tube but for some reason they discontinued the large version.

Price:  $18 for 3.4 oz tube

The third exfoliant is also a Lab Series product, it is the Multi-action Face Wash. This product was really designed for everyday use, but I tend to use it only a few times a week. The difference between this product and their Invigorating Scrub is that this product has a finer grit to it and has a creamy consistency. This product lathers up quite well and contains menthol, which also leaves a cool sensation afterwards.

Price: $16 for 3.4 oz tube

If you're looking for a thriftier product that also gives similar results as the products above, the next product is an excellent choice.

This is St. Ive's Fresh Skin Invigorating Scrub. This product tends to have a courser grit to it but has a creamy consistency. This scrub also has an amazing scent to it and doesn't leave my skin all dried out afterwards. I believe this product was also rated America's number one scrub.

Price: $2 to $4 for 6 oz tube
